Firefighter Engagement Photo Shoot - Codee + Ross

"We've been friends for ten years now but I could never say his name without smiling. We have been there through each other's relationships and even tried dating twice before. Both of us have changed so much in that time. It's almost like we kept growing and molding individually until we finally fit together perfectly."

"I was pulling in the driveway & I saw in my rear view mirror this big beautiful jacked up truck and saw Jimi get out and that's the first time we met. Within 2 weeks I told Mama he was the one and I spent as much time with him as I could. We said I love you within the first month and he proposed 6 months later."

Engagement Photo Shoot in Middle Georgia - Dillon + Carla

Dillon + Carla

"Dillon and Carla met a few weeks before Christmas in 2013 when a mutual friend invited them both to a tacky Christmas sweater party. It was not love at first sight. Dillon was wearing a long sleeve turtle neck that was a few sizes too small and Carla was concerned that he may be too much for her quiet, laid back personality. Their lives had crossed paths several times before but neither had ever really introduced themselves to the other. They had both had a few of the same college classes and were working at the same hospital. Dillon got up enough courage to ask Carla for her number the first night they met. After only a few weeks, they became inseparable. Dillon got up the courage to tell Carla that he loved her on May 9, 2014 although they did not make their relationship official until September of 2014. Dillon waited exactly one year from the day he said “I love you” to ask the greater question of, “Will you marry me?"

Milledgeville Georgia Photographer - Brittany + Ben

Brittany + Ben

"We grew up 15 minutes down the road from each other but didn't actually meet and get together until New Years Eve 2012 in Nashville, TN while both visiting our siblings who are friends. I knew of him through his brother and his cousin, who also happened to be one of my friends. She had always put little bugs in our ears that we should meet and hang out but it seemed like one of us was in another relationship when the other one was not so the timing was never right. After that New years, Ben started visiting me in Statesboro, where I was still in school at Georgia Southern, and I would visit him back home. I always said I wanted to move to Nashville upon graduating so when May rolled around, I went forward with my plans with the understanding we would try to make the long distance thing work. Things progressed and got more serious and after being there a year, I decided to move home so we could be closer and see more of each other. Fast forward to now and well.. now we're getting married! I prayed about the situation constantly and felt like God was leading me back home. I missed my family too and was quite homesick. Even though it's cliche, the saying "If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans" rings so true for me."
