I’m Ashah smith.
I was born and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia and moved to Macon in 2013. My passion for photography began in childhood, and by 16 years old, I knew I wanted to pursue it professionally. I began photographing weddings at 19, opened my own business in 2008, and I’ve loved building a career that allows me to serve people through imagery.
Today, I work with families, seniors, and businesses throughout Middle Georgia to create portraits that feel elevated, natural, and timeless. Whether you’re looking for family photos you’ll cherish for years, senior portraits that reflect your personality, or professional images for your brand, my approach is always thoughtful, guided, and detail-driven.
I believe the best photos happen when you feel comfortable and confident and it’s truly one of my favorite parts of what I do.
I had eight siblings (and a whole lot of cousins) to practice on, and somewhere along the way, I fell in love with photography. This journal entry I found is so special to me, I was only 11 when I wrote it. I’m incredibly thankful I found my passion so early, and even more grateful that I still get to do what I love today….my handwriting is still terrible though!😂

I’m married to an amazing man and have two wonderful kids. Whether we’re at the gym, attending church, spending time on the river or lake, watching The Office for the millionth time, playing UNO, or cheering on my son at a baseball game, being with them is my favorite thing.
Meet Trooper.
Our German Shorthaired Pointer, full-time snuggle bug, and part-time trash bandit. He keeps life entertaining—whether he’s curled up at our feet or getting into mischief when we’re not looking. We wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s a special part of our family.
